Problem Logging In To Spotify

Hello - I can no longer access my Spotify premium account.

I had it setup to login using Facebook. However, I can no longer access my old Facebook account as I changed the password and email address on it before I deactived it. My new Facebook account (<snip>@gmail.com) is obviously not tied with my previous subscription. It didn't occur to me at the time that this would affect my Spotify account.

I also have a Spotify account that is NOT premium. Username dominic.vernados. Email <snip>@live.com.au.

However, my premium account which I'd like back because I had a 12 month subscription plus all my playlists had the following email address associated with it when it was tied to my Facebook account; <snip>@gmail.com.

I just want to retrieve my premium account please as it's got at least nearly another 6 months of access on it which I plan to renew. Maybe my old account data which was tied to a Facebook account (of which I cannot access now) can be merged with my Spotify account?

Just going to snip out those email addresses to stop any bots from scraping them from the public forum and sending you spam. 

Spotify support will need to lend a hand to get your account back, if you could please reply to the automated email with the case number in it (even if it is from no reply) an adviser will be in touch as soon as possible to get you back to your premium.

Hi there,

I've managed to gain access to my old Facebook account. It was a major head case trying to remember what password and email address I had used when I deactived it.

Either way, I now have access to dominic.vernados (Spotify - not premium) and also my OLD Facebook Spotify account which has premium.

Am I in any way able to transfer my old account to the Spotify account dominic.vernados or another new account?

Reason I ask is, although I have gained access to my OLD Facebook account. I don't use it and would like to deactive it again. I only use my new Facebook account which I've now had for months.

So I'd like to find out how to move my subscription and playlists from this Facebook account (vernados.dominic) to my Spotify account dominic.vernados or my other Facebook account which is fully active and I use which is just 'vernadom'.

Found this information but I can't find the Social Network setting in Preferences

I figured I could disconnect my OLD Facebook account and then connect it to my new one....?

My Spotify is connected to wrong Facebook account

If you log into Spotify with your username and password and somebody else's Facebook profile appears, follow these steps.

Windows

1. Click Edit in the menu bar.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Under Social Network, click Disconnect from Facebook.
4. Click Disconnect again to confirm.
5. If you want to connect your own Facebook account, click Connect.
6. Enter your Facebook Email and Password then click Log In.

Support will need to lend you a hand to get that subscription moved over. You can't disconnect a Facebook login account from Facebook I'm afraid.
