Problem updating payment details

I created the account in finland, and in account overview it says that the country is FI, I now live in Spain and in edit profile it says the country is Spain.
I'm trying to pay using spanish credit card and it says that the countries for profile and payment must match. How can I change a country that already is changed in edit profile?

Hey @PetriJ123,

 

To change your account's country to Spain, please update your payment method and billing address. Payment method and Billing address must be in Spain.

 

Once you've done that, your accounts country will be changed at the next payment date.

like I said I already updated the country and payment details, but yeah maybe it just takes time for it to be updated.

I contacted the customer support and got an answer that worked..

 

You’ll need a payment method with a billing address in the country you’d like to switch to.

  1. Log in to your account page[spotify.com] on our website.
  2. Select Subscription in the left panel. 
  3. Click UPDATE DETAILS. 
  4. Click ā€˜ā€¦ā€™ for more options. (see attachment..)
  5. Click Change Country and select the country you wish to move the account to.
  6. Select a payment method with a billing address in the new country.
  7. Confirm the change by clicking CHANGE PAYMENT DETAILS.
  8. The new payment method and country settings be in effect from your next payment date.
