Problem with Premium subscription 3 months

Hello,

to be honest I spent 10min trying to find a link to contact directly with Spotify but it seems I will have to tell everybody what was my issue and then someone could help me (awkward, VERY awkward solution for my point of view).
The thing is that a month ago I suscribed to the 3 months for 9.99โ‚ฌ Premium promotion, I unsuscribed in order to not pay after the first month and then I realized I am a free user again. I got this suscription because of the promotion and now I assume that it was not a valid promotion for all users.
Again, I cannot belive neither that I have to ask this into a forum and not directly to Spotify but it seems is what we have.

It's the first time you subscribe to Premium?

 

The offer 3 months for 9.99 it's only for users who were subscribed to premium (paying the full price with credit card) and cancelled before April 19.

In order to know what's happening to your subscription I need you to answer some questions:

 

  1. Did you unsubscribe before April 19?
  2. Did you pay the full price for your Premium subscription?
  3. Did you pay with credit card or prepaid/gift card?

first of all thank you very much for your reply.

About your questions:

1) no, I unsuscribed on last Friday (29/7) or Thursday at the most
2) yes, I paid 9.99โ‚ฌ (the promo was 3 months for 9.99โ‚ฌ)
3) I paid with debit card

Hi there,

I did subscribed to Premium before this promotion and I paid with debit card. But anyway, a big company like this one and you have to read the small characters of the contract otherwise you get this kind of disappointment.
I could lost the other 2 months as Premium but Spotify lost one of those users who used to recomend this app to his friends.
Thanks for that Spotify.

I've been talking to other community users and community moderators and I was mistaken, you're still eligible if you paid with debit card as long as you canceled before 19th April.

 

If it's your case and you didn't get the offer you should contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form, or tweeting to @SpotifyCares (ENG), @SpotifyAyuda (ESP) or @SpotifyAjuda (PT).

If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

Don't forget to check your Spam Box ๐Ÿ˜‰
