Problem with student discount on existing account

Hi there

 

I'm having trouble applying a new student discount to my account. I've already used the discount before but assumed I could just add another once it finished?

According to the terms and conditions for the student discount, the discount is only good for up to 12 months on an account:

I looked at the terms last night and saw this:

 

Prior to the end of the Discount Period you may reactivate the Offer for an additional twelve (12) months period (“Extension Period") by again submitting your still valid Discount Records. You may only use your NUS Card or Unidays registration to get the Offer for one Spotify account.

 

I assumed this meant I could activate another 12 months?

Sorry, I was looking at the US version. It might be different here.
