Problems after downgrading from premium to free

Problems after downgrading from premium to free

I cancelled my Premium subscription last week. After I did so, I am unable to play any spotify song, either in my playlists or while browsing.

 

When I click play, the desktop player (on two computers) looks like it is rapidly cycling through whatever playlist I'm clicking on, but never plays audio.

Hey @cts,

 

Can you confirm if High quality streaming is enabled under Preferences ( ctrl + P )?

If yes, make sure to disable it since it's Premium only feature and restart Spotify.

I checked and, at least on the computer I'm working on now, high-quality
audio is not activated.
