'for everyone -everywhere'
Me too.
HTC phone
Had 48hours free trial early Feb 2014.
Now you offer completely free 'for everyone -everywhere' -but message says "...you'll need Spotify Premium!"
Can you reset it so I can start agin please??
Thanks
btw I can listen ok on PC.
@darrenescott-gb - What type of HTC phone is it? Spotify free on mobile devices requires android 2.3 or above and an up to date Spotify application (and excludes Windows Phone devices).

You get a free 48 hour full premium trial the first time you login on any mobile device.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! 😞

Sigh.
So it isn't a technical issue of the the phone not being 2.3.
It feels a shame they've made that decision.
It is, the Spotify application version which has the free mobile support in it came out after Spotify discontinued support for android 2.2 (which I would assume was for some technical reason).
