Profile Picture and Playlist Art

Ok, so I've heard mixed things about this topic, some people saying you need to be apart of the Rockstar program and others say otherwise. You see a friend of mine when she set up her account was able to do all this and I really doubt she made it to Rockstar. so what do I do, how can I customise these things...

Spotify has introduced a number of features a few months ago allowing anyone to customise their look on Spotify! You can upload a profile image to your profile and brand your playlists with custom artwork.
