Profile deleted, subscription involuntarily cancelled and password never sent

I've had a spotify account for some years and upgraded it not long ago only to find that t while I could still use spotify on my mobile, I could not log into my account on computers (it let me log in, but kept prompting me to link my account to fb. Each time I declined, it would log me out again). I then found that my requests for a password reset email were never met. 

 

About a week ago, after giving in and accepting the prompt to link my account to facebook, I found that my playlists had disappeared and my account had been downgraded. Why has this happened? And is there any way to retrieve my playlists? I've been building them up for years and it's such a shame to see them go. 

 

All these mishaps have made me reluctant to use spotify at all now....

Hello, @krazy_kuba! It seems like you have two accounts using the same e-mail address (so the original was lost in the system). No need worry! Just get in touch with the customer services team using the online contact form and they will be able to get this sorted out for you. If you get an automated reply directing you back to the community or to the help pages, make sure to reply to it directly.

Keep on eye on your bank account. I have the same problem. Spotify had deleted my playlists and put my account to a free account. But they are collecting monthly money for a premium account.

Hello, @Juriaanr! You seem to have two Spotify accounts. You will need to get in touch with the customer services team using the form I linked in my previous post to get this sorted.
