Promotial Offer Xbox Game Pass

I have a link for 6 months of Spotify premium for free, from the Xbox ultimate game pass but when I try to activate it, it says I'm ineligible.  Since I have a new account(never used Spotify before) I never have used any trial before.  It has not asked me for a form of payment since it just straight tells me it cant give it to me. I was wondering what is the issue and how to solve it.

You are not eligible to redeem a trial promo if you already had or tried Premium in the past regardless if it was on another account, per example. You can get more information about it here:

If you really think it's a mistake, you can be in touch with the Customer Support team to get help with it. Just go on there and choose the best channel for you and explain your issue or doubt. Someone will help you as soon as possible.

The Customer Support team usually replies within 24-48 hours by email.
