Publish activity off on pc but turned on iphone

So I don't really like people knowing what I listen to. Does publish activity actually work? Will it not show what I listen to? Also my publish activity was off on pc but it was turned on on my phone?? So people can see what I'm listening to if I'm on my phone? Thanks

When you turn off Publish Activity in the settings, people will still see what you listen to in the Friend Feed. Your listening history won't be visible on your profile however. If you want other people to not see what you are currently listening to, try starting a Private Session. You'll have to start this before every session however. More information here.

If you never want other people to know what you are listening to. You could try to create a new account and keep it a secret 🙂
