I would like to purchase a premium membership .... But if I do this on my iPhone 6 Plus will Itunes or Apple take a cut and charge me more than the actual premiership montly fee? I was a former member of RDIO for 2years unto Pandora took them over, yes I lost all my playlist... I did my first monthly instalment with RDIO and there after itunes/Apple started charging me at double the monthly instalment as a third party.

I don't want this to happen again, how do I purchase my premium for Spotify without extra chargers per month?

I was centrally directed to another RDIO page to make instalments rather than my credit card via settings in my iPhone 6 Plus, do you have a similar platform?

Hi @Spotifytarn,

Paying for Spotify through iTunes is 30% more expensive than doing so directly with Spotify.com because of Apple’s transactional costs.

Here’s how to switch your account to the lower Spotify.com rate:

Follow these steps to turn off future payments with Apple.

Wait until the month you already paid for ends. (See renewal date here.)

Note: Your account will remain on Premium during this time.

Then head to the Premium page. Log in when prompted.

Enter your payment details and click START MY SPOTIFY PREMIUM.

That's it! Your account is now switched to the lower Spotify.com price.
