This didn’t work for me.  I logged in using my email as your instructions said.  It is the same as my Apple ID.  And I did not get asked to connect.  It only gave me a pop up asking if I wanted Spotify on my watch.  I only downloaded the Spotify app today so I know it’s the latest version.  When signing up and getting premium I didn’t understand why I got the red box. Maybe because I bought premium online like it said to in the app? I can’t merge the account to apple.

We'd recommend to check your Apple email address for Spotify on your device with the steps below:

Go to phone’s Settings and tap your name > Select Password & Security > Tap Apps Using Your Apple ID and you should be able to check the email address shared with Spotify.
