Recently played artists STILL not functioning properly

I’m disappointed that Spotify has decided this issue is fixed when the function is still not working as it was before and therefore not informative. Before it would show artists played even from a playlist. Now it just shows artists that you specifically search and go to the artists page or album to play. This is grossly inaccurate and I’d like to be able to see what friends are listening to and to be able to have them see my latest listens. If you add music to a playlist and only play that artist in the playlist, it won’t show up as a recently played artist.

Spotify wanted to streamline the app so they changed a few things up. It should work fine now that they've updated it.
