Redeeming new giftcard before current premium time end

Hi my current Spotify Premium last until 2013-12-16, I just redeemed a $10 giftcard now, it said:

 

"Your account has been credited with 1 month of Spotify Premium"

but why on my account subscription status its still says "You are registered for Spotify Premium until 2013-12-16." 

why it doesn't say until 2014-01-16?

When you redeemed it, were you emailed a receipt? Also, try clearing your browsing data and logging in again and see if it changes 🙂

nope, no email no receipt, cleared browising data but still says:

You are registered for Spotify Premium until 2013-12-16. After this period your account will become a Spotify Free account.

not 2014-01-16.. ;(

Sounds like you might have accidentally redeemed the gift card on a duplicate account (which is amazingly easy to do). If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form including the premium code they can check it out for you. Don't worry, they won't let you go without your premium!

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
