Registration during vacation abroad

I want to register to spotify but I'm on a vacation in the USA... I can't chosse my country Hungary on the registration form only USA appear there as an option. What to do? How can I register If I'm not at home (being abroad for 3! weeks)

Hi @nikolettblasko!

If you want to create a Spotify account that's registered in Hungary, you'll need to use an internet connection registered in this country.

You can create your account in the US and change your country settings once you get back to Hungary. You can find some useful info here.

This does not work for family accounts. If the family account is registered in a different country as where you are during holidays you cannot add family members while you are on vacation.

The only work around is setting up a proxy of vpn connection. But is altogether very inconvenient.
