My Question or Issue

first thing sorry if its not the correct place to put it, it's less of an issue for me and more for spotify and i would like them to know that.

recently my spotify account have been compromised. i noticed that cause i saw someone from a remote machine listening to music i dont know. quickly i changed disconnected all connected devices and changed my pass. using https://haveibeenpwned.com/ i found out i used the same email and pass in sites the been compromised in the past, so that was the way in for the hacker.
but what did he actually did?
i checked the albums he listenend to and figured that its not a real music from not a real artist, its generated content. all names are 1-2  words, each album is 20 min approx, and the songs sounds like free samples from somewhere..
i would like to bring those artists\albums to spotify attention so they can check my claims. if they are true, spotify loses money to bots which is painful cause they do great job for musicians and listeners.

sorry again if its not the correct place. i invite you to listen to those artists and tell me you op

Hey there @AssafB,

Great work so far on changing your password, I'd recommend checking out the steps here for the best way to keep your account secure, I'd also recommend signing out everywhere which can be done by Log in to your account page here, scroll down, and select SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE.

I can understand your concern, Spotify takes streaming manipulation in all forms seriously and responds proactively to reports and also works behind the scenes to prevent this. I have passed the information you've reported here across to the folks at Spotify for further investigation however due to the nature this is handled internally and I won't be able to provide any further comment on any outcomes or progress however if it's deemed that this is occurring action will be taken as appropriate by the specialists.

Thanks for the report and have a great week ahead,

Thanks for the report and have a great week ahead,

did they actually solve this, or did they just tell you they fixed it when they didn't.

this happened to me trough spotify's own data breach, in one day i apparantly filled my favorit artist and playlists with rubbish and listend to they same songs 1000s of times.

my daily mix is now useless and broken, i keep getting recomended all the songs and playlists the bot listened to and nothing else. i am furious, how is it so hard to fix.

this is after multiple attempts of contacting support btw.
