Select a playlist and it plays only the first song then skip

Since yesterday, when I choose a playlist it plays the first song of that playlist but then the next song comes from a completely different playlist? For example, yesterday I was having a massage and I was playing relax spa playlist....first son was ok, then the next song was a techno song. Why? This is happening on both Mac app and IOS

I am sorry to hear about this. Can you let me know if this happens after you perform a clean reinstall of the app on both devices following these steps? These steps are more thorough than a simple reinstall. 

If you're still having trouble, can you let me know if the same behavior occurs when you are playing songs using the Web Player? That would help us narrow down the issue at hand.

thanks for your answer. The issue also happens on the web player apparently so I doubt a clean reinstall would solve the issue. It must be account-related, perhaps some options I've clicked on accidentally although I went through all the settings and can't find one...
