Send email to set password - email never received

I've tried to set a password to allow the Spotify app on my Philips TV to login, but when I click the 'Send email to set password' button I never receive the email. I've tried more than once + I've verified that my email is correct and that the email is not in the spam folder. I've waited for about 15 minutes... should it take that long?

Hey @vestermark when you signed up for Spotify did you go through Facebook? 

 

You should be able to log in with your Facebook email and password. If you want to reset that password you'll need to go to www.facebook.com. 

Support helped me out and gave me a password I could use with my user ID. The original issue was never resolved as I never was able to create the password via the website. I didn't try to use my Facebook credentials as the Spotify app asked for my numeric Spotify user ID and password.
