Settings not Saving

I turn on Automatically make new playlists public and show my current top artists but neither of them even apply when I restart. Also the publish my activity on spotify was only applied through my phone and it doesn't even seem to work.

I've seen 2-3 threads on this so far and not a single response has been made to either of them, please help.
