Share spotify connect device between family

I have singed up for family in order for my wife to be able to play songs on the house sound system speakers like me. But I found out that she doesn't see the device from her account. 

Is this possible for I should cancel the Family and look for a diffrent solution?

Hmm... 

Sounds like your issue may be with the sounds system software... Typically you have to sign in in their settings app, Echo, Sonos, etc... If she wants that device to show up, she may need to sign in there with her account. Some devices let you connect with multiple profiles. 

For example: With our Amazon Echo - You create different profiles and then link different spotify accounts to each profile. When my wife wants to play her music.. She just starts it from Spotify by choosing the device or by asking alexa to switch profiles and then asking her to play spotify.

The family plan is great though because without it, everytime she wanted to play music, you would get disconnected 😞 and having separate accounts also gives Spotify a better chance to learn you and what music you like so that it can make accurate recommendations, which is always fun!
