My Question or Issue
I've used Spotify (free version) for many years (at least since 2018) and have always been able to play playlists in order without the shuffle feature on. I listen to Spotify all day everyday at work. I logged into Spotify last week and all of a sudden the shuffle was on. I attempted to turn it off and it said I had to upgrade to Premium. I literally had been listening to the same playlist in order the day before while working. I had not closed out of Spotify, turned off my computer, or anything, but all of a sudden I have to get Premium to use a feature I have been using with my free account for years. Was there an upgrade I wasn't aware of?
Hey @laurenoel88,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
At Spotify we're constantly testing new implementations to better the user experience on our platform. Sometimes you may see a feature not being available for a short period of time and sometimes you may have access to a new feature, which is not available for all users.
Hope this clears things a bit,
Cheers!
