Sign up again with an email address that was used before

Sooo guys, I've been wondering if it's possible to delete my spotify account and then just sign up again with the same e-mail address from before.

The background is:

I wanted to change my username, but spotify doesn't allow, especially since I registered via facebook. The only way to do so is sign up with a new account.

So, I wanted to do so, but I've only got one e-mail address for all - my facebook account and other accounts. And since spotify regocnises the e-mail address behind my facebook account, I can't use this one, since of course my current account uses it. But I don't want to create a new e-mail address just for spotify.

So my idea was to delete my spotify account and then just sign up again with the same e-mail address from before.

Is that possible?

The only way possible at the moment is to contact support and have them "free" your e-mail address for re-use.

You can contact them through this page and make sure to reply to and automatic mail you're getting.
