Single premium account to a family account

Single premium account to a family account

Hi there, i have been paying (two separate payments each month) for my own as well as my daughter to have our own spotify premium account for a couple years and just learned about the family plan. I've enrolled in the family plan and added her as my one family member. Question is, does she need to cancel her single premium account in order to be on the family plan? I don't want to continue to be billed for her single account as well as the new family plan. Also, if she has to cancel her single account, will her playlists get deleted? Thank you, on advance!

Hey @fatguyaz,

 

When she accepts the invite, she will be added to the Spotify Family plan when her current billing period runs out and she won't be charged for her account any further - her payments are handled by you (Family plan owner).

 

However, if her Premium subscription is currently handled by a third party - such as iTunes or your mobile operator - she'll need to contact them to cancel her Premium first :).

Ok, i can see her added to the family plan. All good, there. She is logged in through Facebook, but i believe signed up through Spotify, so it sounds like we're all good and her billing will drop off next month. Thanks for your help!
