Someone has hacked into my account and changed my email and password associated with my account. They deleted all of my music and playlists that I hvae been gathering since like 2012 or earlier. My credit card is still assocated with the account. I can't get a response from spotify because support tickets go to the highjacker's email address. I need help.
also I don't give a **bleep** about all these stupid god darn badges this forum keeps on throwing at me. I've already earned my "**bleep**ED IN THE ASS" badge by having my account hacked. I don't need this forum mocking my misfortune by telling me I hvae ranked up in the spotify forum community. I couldn;t care less about my rank here. I just want to talk to some staff because Spotify has neglected to set up any sort of customer service line.

Before filling up the form above make sure you're logged out from Spotify.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible. Give it 24 to 48hrs, also make sure you're checking your Spam folder because sometimes emails might end up there.
Is there any way to get back my songs and playlists from before the hack?
When you create a new account Customer Service can transfer all your old stuff into your new account.
Wait, so I have to create a new account and my old stuff will be transferred to my new account? What about the old account? Will it be terminated? Will my profile picture - a picture of me - be taken down? Will my credit card be wiped? Does the scumbag hacker just get to enjoy whatever remaining time I have left on my spotify premium until it fails to renew?
Why I am getting more "rank ups" than responses from moderators?
Creating a new account is not "forced" but we highly recommend it, you created your account using Facebook looks like. You can always connect your old Facebook account to your new Spotify account if you want to keep your picture. But keep in mind that you should change your Facebook email and password also (If those aren't hacked yet). You will get all your stuff transfered over yes, your Premium priviledges etc.
It's not that I want to keep the picture its that I want any of my information connected with the old account removed from it. It is nice that I will have premium again, but I want to make sure that the premium priveges no longer exist on my old account once they are transferred to my new account. I want to make sure that everything is gone from the old account immediately once it is transferred.
Your old acccount will be terminated I forgot to mention that (if you like to of course). All your stuff will be moved into your new account and your old account will be terminated. Even though the hacker removed your stuff Customer Service can still restore those.
If you run into any issues let us know and we will help you out. 🙂
Great. I have created the new account. Do I use that link provided above to submit a ticket? What do I need to provide in order to prove that my account has been comprimised and to make this process easy for them so it will be a quick transition for me?
Yes, use your new account. Make sure you're including as much detail as you can, such as any possible email addresses you might have used to create the account and any possible purchases and they will be able to lend a hand.
Before using that contact form make sure you clear your browser cache, then use your new account and fill up that form.
