Someone is listening to music on their device through my account.

I have tried logging out of all accounts and resetting password, but it keeps showing someone is listening to music as a "host"

Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

If the app is on the same Wi-Fi network as another device using Spotify, it will be shown on the available devices or you'll receive a pop-up notification about it. However, it's not common that the other device appears as a host.

To check if this could be related to a Remote group session that has not ended, we'd recommend following the steps to leave it mentioned in this article. Also, we'd suggest checking if the other user is controlling your speaker from a Group session on speaker. If so you can try the steps mentioned in this article to remove someone from your speaker.

In case the issue persists, it could be related to someone else using your account without your consent. In this case, since we don't have access to users' accounts from the Community, we'd recommend contacting our Customer Support directly, so they can check your account and help you further.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
