My Question or Issue & SOLUTION
Well, another hijack to my acc. You guys need to updgrade the security here.
There is a Blind Spot with your access apps.
I was listening music and sudenly there was a new device connected ( not mine ). He/She change my music and change the output of the sound to his device.
This is not the first time that happend to me.
SOLUTION:
To fix this, I Always resset my password and logout all devices, BUT the entry point of this increible BUG is an APP with Access called Spotify advertising cookie app in my account page/apps/.
If I dont disable/remove that, it will happend again. I know becaouse I test it.
QUESTION
Is there any way to BLOCK ALL apps access in my account?
I am very carefully in internet, I work in security. BUT somehow there appear new unknow app access and PUM, hijack mi acc again.
Hi @bartuken!
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. If you think someone else, has gained access to your Spotify account, I'd recommend checking out this Support article for the next steps to take. As far as how to manage the apps connected to your Spotify account, you can do this from your Spotify account page here.
Hope this helps!
Please understand, I already did the good practices to get safe my acc.
Already remove all apps, Already desconected all clients, already change my passwords.
But somehow a new app appear in my app access panel in spotify/my_account/apps page ( or whatever the really path is)
If there in my group family is hacked or hijacked, The MAIN account is vulnerable?
I hope this really not to happend,.
No. Only your account gets hacked. The family plan is only in danger when the host account of your family plan is hacked. Are you sure you left no password information anywhere or have still some apps connected somewhere? This is really important.
Can you tell me what app appeared in your app list? Maybe its only the standard spotify wep player access
I am sure of that.
Now I only have the 2 apps. Appear when signin on this comunnity
But something like a week ago, I have Spotify.advertisment.app
Wierd, I got a pay plan.
I removed that of course and change my password. The thing is I never
accept this.
I checked for spotify exploits.
I found a few but this is the lastests -> https://www.cvedetails.com/cve/CVE-2018-1167/
There are to many problems with spotify, I was hacked in 4times.
One of thesse somebody change my main password. wth! without any EMAIL confirmation. the MOST wierd thing => my password was and autgenerated hash with Uppercase, DownCase, numbers and symbols.
I'm thinking to remove my suscription until it is safe

Try resetting your password. That might fix it.
Hey there @bartuken,
Thanks for reaching out in the Community!
Keep in mind that if you see unexpected changes on your own account, it shouldn't affect the Spotify accounts of the family members joined in your Premium for Family plan.
We'd also recommend making sure to follow all the steps listed in the support site article @Jose_M provided, including reaching out to us. This way, our support team can take a closer look backstage for you.
On another note, we'd recommend taking a look at this support site article where you can find more info regarding any third-party apps displayed here.
Hope this helps clarify things. Have a lovely day!
