Someone playing music through my Spotify on their PS4

Since last year, someone has been playing music using my Spotify on their PS4. I don’t even know that person because he listens to Dutch music. I’ve been trying to contact Spotify support but all they did was remove all devices and reset my password and the person came back a week later.

I am having a similar issue, spotify does not seem to care about this issue.

Yes it’s weird. I have my own Dutch playlist. But the problem really here is that none of my Dutch friends IRL own a PS4 so I’m guessing someone is using cracking tools for popular apps e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes Etc.

Oh yeah and apparently they don’t know the IP address of the individual. So like, if someone logs in to your Spotify from the other side of the country on an unknown device they won’t know the address. From my experience, there are platforms that use additional confirmations to check whether it’s you who’s using your Spotify account and not someone else.

All they will do is remove the device that’s not been using your Spotify account for at least a month.
