Someone stole my account

Someone stole my account

Someone got in and changed the email to my account.  This just raises a few very important question to me:

1) How good is your security when people can just do this?

2) Why is there no security check or anything in my email before the change is made?

3) Why have I not recieved ANY response from your team in any of my emails yet?

4) What kind of bank risks am I at since I'm currently paying for Premium with my bank credit card on this account I currently can not use?

 

I want my account back, I want responses, and I want EVERYTHING as it was before the account change (Libraries and artists and playlists exactly as they were)

Seems like your account has been comprimised. Contact SpotifyCares via twitter @SpotifyCares, or contact them via the contact form.

Can you do me a favor and be less useless?  Obviously my account was compromised, I'm more concerned with what he can do with my credit card information since it's linked to that account for premium, but you didn't even read my message, did you? No, you just copy and pasted your stupid response without answering any of my questions.

I have already contacted support at all those other places, and have gotten zero responses.  what is the turn around time for replies?  Why is this not being handled better?  Why was he able to just change my email without making sure it was me doing it?  Why are you all so bad at your jobs?  Do I need to get a lawyer to have this issue expedited and resolved?

The Spotify Support team usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.


If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the Community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.


If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check your accounts email address here.

Are you seriously telling me right now that someone has my account for up to 48 hours? Doing who knows what with it (and my credit card that's linked)?  This is unacceptable, Tobias.  Completely. 

 

He can keep my account, I don't want it anymore.  I'm going to contact my bank, block all payments to spotify and just subscribe with someone else.

Same thing happened to me. Got hacked less than an hour ago. Now any support emails are forwarded to the new email that they replaced mine with? Seriously?

yeah, this support is all useless. That's why I made a new account to try to talk to these dingbats, and they are still useless. At this point I'm just canceling the subscription and going with Youtube or something

happened to me around 10 AM PST

 

Been emailing this idiots all day long with no response. 

I have THREE case orders open.  they just don't seem to care at all.  I'm going to call my lawyer tomorrow.  I don't like how they don't care that your credit card is potentially at risk.
