My Question or Issue

Yesterday I noticed that my account was using by someone. He was using Chrome to listen music but I never use Chrome. Then I saw an advertisement in Spanish but I'm from Turkey. I opened my account and saw that someone from Brasil did that. It seems that he made some playlists a week ago and spams follower count. The lists have almost 150.000 followers and they are only a week old. Here are some examples:
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1E5vR0mEzAOtisOZfA1Aur?si=bSqRyFFhTpyLgV9JUEfAdg
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0RBz1e58oX40voddkm2pqk?si=BD0nZ3R3R86RiJyIeGrIFw
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3FEfhg5eUYoNIMAvErsNn6?si=_lq2VTh_RBmc1KxJYoF6lg
2 of them were added to my library.
If you investigate and stop this hacker I would be grateful. Have a nice day.

Hey, @Nekroses
Welcome to Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out here!

I do recommend that you change your password.
Also, you can go to your account page and click SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE as well.
It's also strongly advised that you change the password for:

  • The email address associated with your Spotify account (e.g. with Gmail, Hotmail, etc.)
  • Any Facebook profile associated with your Spotify account. You can make sure you're the only one currently logged into your Facebook in your Facebook Settings, under Security and login > Where You’re Logged In.
  • Any service where you use the same password as Spotify.

And you can get more information about how to protect your account here.

If you have any other further questions or need more help, let me know! I'd love to help!

Best Regards,
hezorg
