Someone wants to use my Email

Today at 4:21 AM I received an email that my email address on Spotify got changed and that I should confirm it. The problem is though that I don't even have Spotify! (Just made this account to post the issue) and that I was even asleep during the time a change was made! So in that case, a complete stranger wants to use my email for their account!

So my question is: What should I do? And also: Is there a way to Backtrack, to see which person wants to use my email?

Most likely someone made a typo and entered your email address by mistake. We recommend that you reach out to our Customer Support team using the steps here. They'll be happy to take a closer look and do what's necessary so that you don't receive any further emails from Spotify.
