My Question or Issue

So Spotify released the new username thing where it is made out of random characters and such but my display username is still the one I used to create is it possible to change only the display name? Since it doesnt matter anymore due to accounts having random names is that an option?

Hello @Snakebab!

Unfortunately at this time it is not possible to change an account’s username. The closest you can get is to link your Spotify account to your Facebook profile so that your Facebook display name is the one shown on your account.

If you are really desperate to change your username, it is possible to create a new account!

Though I wont be able to get the same student discount until a year 😕 They came up with a username system of random characters might as well allow us to change Display Name at least..
