Spotify App not showing my premium account

I got the iphone 7. Downloaded the free app. Signed into my account and its not showing any of my playlists and its saying I have a free account when I pay for premium?? Do i have to pay another $5 to download the premium app now? Can't use the regular one?

Hey there! 

 

You definately should be able to use your premium account with the Spotify application and to my knowledge, Spotify do not charge for their app to be downloaded. 

 

I would just double check your login details as you may be logging into an old account without realising it.
