Spotify Artist Page link does not work on Facebook.

I am having an issue trying to link my spotify artists page on my Facebook in the "websites and social links". When I add it, the button is clickable but on my phone it opens up Spotify and says error, have another go... and on PC/Mac it just opens up a blank tab on chrome and says "this site cannot be reached".

I am using the "share>copy artist link" from Spotify, but adding that into Facebook it will not work. Even sharing it to my wall doesn't work.

I read an older solution was to erase everything from the question mark of the link up to the end  but that doesn't work either. I would really like some help with this as people keep telling me the link doe not work through facebook... thats how I discovered it didn't work, clicked it myself and found out.

If the option you're looking for is not there, we'd recommend using another one that fits your issue, even if it's a bit general.

I have the same problem.

 On facebook page editing the about - Websites and social links you select the Spotify and its asks you for the username. 

When you put the username and you click it ( only is you put an Artist username ) it doesn't work cause the facebook use this link https://open.spotify.com/user/  . For a Spotify user this works fine but for an Artist the link should be this https://open.spotify.com/artist/ but facebook has only the first so to fix this someone (from Spotify support) have to contact facebook developers. Or Spotify developers to make the username at this link be able to fit to both https://open.spotify.com/user/ and https://open.spotify.com/artist/

Or remove the "user" or "artist" after the https://open.spotify.com/

so any username you put next to it will work fine just like in Instagram, Facebook, Twitter TikTok  etc...

Please fix this , there is no other solution.
