Spotify Country Change Problem

I have Spotify Duo Premium. I am trying to change my Spotify Country from USA to India since I moved. According to the FAQs I can do this by changing my payment details to an Indian Card. However, when I try to do this, Spotify gives me an error saying the payment details don't match the Country details. This seems like a circular problem where nothing can be changed.

Thanks for reaching out.

In this case, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end. Once it has ended, you can change your country setting to India through the dropdown menu here.

Once that's done, you can subscribe to your desired plan using your payment method from India at https://spotify.com/premium.
