Spotify Customer Support Sucks

Spotify Customer Support Sucks

All I need is my password to log into my mobile device. It's been over a week since I put in the support ticket. Pretend for a second that you are a real company, and need your customers to be happy....now send me my password champ

I canceled my subscription after reading how much of a hassle it is just to reset a password. Can't log on and can't get any answers as to how to go about fixing this problem. I did notice, however, Spotify never has any problems deducting my subscription cost every month. Imagine that. 

Getting yet another useless computer generated email with solutions I've told them I've already tried. It's no wonder they don't provide a customer support phone number- they'd need a hoard of employees manning the phones night and day to fix everyones issues. I'm sure this is a complete waste of time but I actually went to the trouble of re enrolling ( and having them charge my PayPal account). Lets see what happens now- fixed or ignored?

@Closeup Very sorry to hear about that. Would you be able to share your case number with me so I can get this looked into? 

It depends. If customer service person has bad day, then maybe service is bad. Try to reach another person, maybe it will do the trick 😉 Haahaaa.

My radio station has played 5 John Denver songs in the last hour. The more I give it a thumbs DOWN the more hey play the sob!

Same here.  After months of frustration with Spotify's nonexistent customer support, I'm switching to Apple music.  Their catalog is just as large, and you can reach a live human if you need to.

Just going to leave this here.

Thanks for the follow up but I finally received a follow up via Twitter.

I think most, if not all of the frustration people have towards Spotiy customer service is because of the generic auto-reply email that gets doled out instead of an actual response.
I get that most of the support tickets Spotify receives are because of user error and technical issues but I had a payment issue and after filling out 2 or 3 support tickets and being brushed off I had to take to Twitter twice to receive an actual action on my issue.

The low level of customer service and the hoops I had to jump through to get to it seem to be typical of most issues here.

Spotify help SUCKS. They should have a number to call to HELP their CUSTOMERS!!! It only took me 3 months to get my problems straightened out what the hell kind of service is this. If I have more problems I will quit. Wake UP!

No thanks finally straightened out now after 3 months my wife was unable to get on line with spotify

I've been working on getting premium family for days. Actually paid for it 3 days ago and my subscription still says free. When you send an email you get a canned response saying this is what you said. Really, no **bleep**, that's what I said and respond timely with an answer. It's simple, Ive paid $128 and want premium for the family. How hard can this be? It's your business to sign up customers, collect payment and provide a service. This could be the worse service I've ever encountered. I hate to say it, but it's much worse than Comcast. How in the heck do you get help?
