Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help. My wife bought me a one month premium subscription to Spotify yesterday. So far, so good!
However, I am now getting emails sent to my email account every minute to 2 minutes saying "You've received a Spotify gift card".
I've redeemed the card and now have access to premium, but still am getting these emails.
I saw some other thread about 'having two accounts' causing some issues with email for users. I'm not sure whether this would affect me - I only signed up one time via Facebook, but my user name is a series of numbers. How do I know what my other account is? How do I get the details for this account? And could I transfer the gift to that account?
If anyone has any suggestions on how to stop these emails, I'd really appreciate any advice you could give me - I've had around 1000 of the things come in thus far!

The "second account" emails are usually something about friends subscribing to a playlist or other social nonsense that don't go away when told. This is an unrelated bug and quite a horrible one.
Same issue. Completely unacceptable for it to be still spaming my wife 1 day later.
Yup. Still getting these 1 day later. I submitted a helpdesk ticket and someone is looking at this according to the response, but they haven't got back to me since early this morning. I'll post if I hear more, but this is getting pretty ridiculous.
I donated a Premium account for one month to a friend of mine, but regret I have done so...
She's getting hundreds of mails about it.
