Spotify Sent me an email notify, I switched to the current e-mail with a new one.

Spotify Sent me an email notify, I switched to the current e-mail with a new one.

How can it be possible that Spotify will not verify email changes with a confirmation message instead of exchanging email and notifying the change.

 

In this case, my account has fallen into the wrong hands. New email 

<removed sensitive info>

is not mine, I do not have any information about that email.

Now I have to put a spot for the spotify that I have not made this email exchange myself.

Would it be more secure if the e-mail changes etc ... relevant functions should be confirmed by a separate email message. then the misuster would not be as easy to change email and other important features.
