Spotify Student without credit card?

Hi people 🙂

I tried to 'upgrade* my spotify account from regular to student but it doesn't seem to work at all.

I did recieve the email and my University is listed but when I apply for it I have to enter my 'credit card number' (?)

Do I have to cancel my current subscription to get spotify student ?

Do I have to have a credit card (I'm using paypal right now)?

If you come accross any problems, contact the Spotify team here. Make sure to reply back if you get an automated message.

There is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people.

So if you run into any trouble,

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
