Spotify Thinks I'm Swedish!



I'm hoping someone can lend me a hand. It seems that whenever I go to access my account information, I'm directed to the Swedish site, and not the English version.


While I wish I could speak fluent Swedish, unfortunately I cannot! I haven't been able to figure out a way to access the English site, so for the time being I am using the translator plug-in in Chrome.


It's an ongoing issue that I noticed awhile back, but haven't been able to figure out a solution, so any help would be appreciated!

If you are using this in the Spotify app you should be able to change this in account settings.

Changing your country in the Spotify desktop settings should also fix your problem

Hello – and thanks for the reply!

I should clarify, the issue is not on the desktop app, but only when I access my account and my settings through a web browser (Chrome, to be specific). My desktop app is fine – no issues with the language there!


On the desktop app, my language is selected as English and that works just fine! However, when I click on the down arrow next to my account name and click on account, I'm directed to my web browser and the language is shown in Swedish.
