Spotify account does not link with Facebook

Hello,

For a while now I'm trying to connect my Spotify account to Facebook but I cannot manage. In the Spotify app on Windows (from the store) I go to settings and click the connect to Facebook and successfully login, however my username on Spotify does not change to my full name, which is what I want, and the button to connect to Facebook just stays there, as if nothing happened. For some reason it doesn't seem to work. Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure what difference it makes, but I have premium, and use Spotify on Windows and on my Android phone.

Hey @keranoz!

Sounds like you might have opted out of sharing your data with Facebook. You can check this on your account page here. You should also make sure that on Facebook's end here, Spotify has to be allowed to have access to personal data.

Hi @Jose_M,

I indeed had Facebook data processing disabled! Connecting to Facebook now works. However my Spotify username does not change to my full name from Facebook. Do you also know about this?
