Spotify account problem due to facebook

I want to disconnect from Facebook, and have an independent Spotify account. I must be able to login in with my Facebook account email address, keep my Spotify paid subscription, playlists, and started songs.

I have searched many other forums but I can't find a solution to my situation.

How to go about this depends on how you created your account. 

If when you created your Spotify account, you got a Spotify username and password, then to disconnect from Facebook all you need to do is log into the desktop client using those details, your Spotify username (not email address) and password and then head to Edit > Preferences > Social Network > Disconnect from Facebook. 

If you created your Spotify account using Facebook and you normally log in using your Facebook email address and password, then there is no way to seperate your current Spotify account from Facebook. You will need to get in touch with the customer services team using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you in migrating to a new account.
