Spotify account with spark new zealand

Spotify account with spark new zealand

I had a spotify premium account until recently and joined a phone company in new zealand (spark) who now pays for my spotify premium account monthly. However, I am not sure if I had two account (as I have two email addresses) but we can't get it to switch over. My premium account that I was paying has been canceled but the new one hasn't started. Please help.

Hey @Lee_monique,

You need to be sure your Spotify account has become Free. To do so:

1. Go to your Subscription page.

2. Click UPDATE DETAILS. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.

3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,

Note: If you have your Premium active you won't be able to use your Spark subscription. That's why it's important to cancel before clicking UPDATE DETAILS.

After you've removed your payment info, and you're sure you have a Free account, sign up to Spark here. If your account is shown as Premium, wait for your current subscription to end, and then get it through Spark.

Hope it helps. 🙂

I have a similar issue, was a Spotify premium customer but when I joined spark I cancelled so they could take over paying for my premium. Premium isn't active now, contacted Spark who say it's active at their end so I'm trying to contact Spotify instead. Please help

Hey @Kippa

Seems like your Spark subscription could be assigned to a different Spotify account from the one you're checking.

You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
