Spotify app won't log in on Android

My Question or Issue

I cannot log in to my Spotify account on the app on my Android phone even though I have the username and password completely correct.  I double checked to make sure my phone and computer where I also listen to Spotify are registered with the correct county, and I changed my computer back to the US from Spain, but no matter how many times I try I cannot get past the login page for Spotify on my phone.  I can, however, log in to the web version of Spotify on my phone.

Basically I go to the login screen and type in my correct username and password, I press login, the screen appears to be loading as I log in, and then it flashes right back to the blank login screen without explanation.

However, when I type in the incorrect username or password, the screen then tells me my username or password is incorrect.

Hope you're doing great!

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app? Just follow these steps.

If the issue persists try using Sign Out Everywhere and Remove Offline devices options from your Spotify account.

of the device, try to uninstall the app, restart the device, and install
again the app
