I'm still waiting to be approved for the artist app and it's been over 2 weeks

If you've applied for verification/Spotify for Artists access, you should hear back soon don't worry. If you've still not heard in a couple of weeks, you might want to give them a shout via the contact form to check you added enough info for them to check the request.
