Spotify as a present for friends abroad

Dear spotifiers,

I would like to buy an e-card for friends who live in Taiwan. I live in Germany.

at the e-card page it says:

"Spotify Premium codes can only be redeemed by recipients in the same country as the country you bought the e-card in."

Is there any way I could get a code for my friends without acutally having to travel there?

There is currently no way to gift spotify abroad (inside the terms and conditions) I'm afraid.
