Spotify charged my credit card - but i never used my credit card for spotify

Today i recognized a credit card debiting from Spotify - but i didn't ever use my credit card for spotify.

I'm paying my spotify unlimited subscription via PayPal and my PayPal account doens't know my credit card either.

What's wrong here?

If you believe you definitely didn't use that card ever for Spotify, I would also be tempted to inform your bank or card issuers fraud team just in case any other charges pop up.

I contacted the payments team und I will get my money back and the second account that was created by the system mistakenly has been deleted.

About the credit card ... no further information.
