Spotify doesn´t play music on laptop anymore- error message: Soundcard

Hey Guy´s

After I plugged in my hdmi cable for the first time, Spotify doesn´t play the music anymore.

It´s just possible to play music, if I plug in the hdmi cable and listen music by my tv.

Spotify reports the error message, that there´s a problem with my soundcard and music cannot be played.

I hope, that anyone is able to help me. Gladly in German language 🙂

I´m sorry for my weak English-skills and I hope, that you are able to understand my explanation of the problem.

Have you tried restarting your computer, it normally solves and soundcard issues?

Yes I have done that already but it didn't work.

Can you try going to:

Control Panel > Sound and make sure your speakers are selected as the default sound device, and not the HDMI output since Spotify will always use the default one?
