Spotify family and Spotify partner

Hi, my account is associated with a Spotify partner. How should I proceed with upgrade to Spotify family?
My partner said that they cannot activate this subscription.

Please tell the partner to cancel your subscription. Once it's cancelled and your account is back on the Free plan, you should be able to subscribe to Premium for Family here: 🙂

Hi, thank you. I had to find out how to cancel my existing subscription at Spotify partner. My current subscription will expire at the end of this month so I presume that afterwards I will be able to activate Spotify family.
BTW. cancel process should be done IMHO by Spotify, not by a partner to garantuee a quality of a service at any point of customer life cycle.
