Spotify family canceling

Spotify family canceling

Hi- trying to solve a family sharing plan issue. I recently upgraded my personal Spotify account to the Family Plan. I sent invites to my wife and kids to have them join. My wife, who already has a Premium account, accidentially upgraded her subscription to a Family Plan (instead of joining mine). After canceling her subscription, which we assumed would let her join my family account, we keep getting this error:  "Sorry! You're already a member of this (or another) Family plan. Please click below to switch to the account that you want to join to the Family plan."  Do we need to wait out the cancelation period or is there some other way to clear my wife's account of the Family plan so she can join.

You need to wait until her current subscription expires, then she should be able to join your Premium for Family plan.
