Spotify free automatic payment failure

Hi,

I don't understand why my payment fails every two or three months. I pay with a virtual card which number is valid for 6 months or more. Yesterday, I changed my number but I couldn't still subscribe for spotify free. Today It's ok.

Could someone explain me
